Heartbeat adapted for preschool

Eureka Street Learning also offers Shakespeare’s Heartbeat for preschoolers. By playing simple games, our classes help preschool children improve eye contact, work on emotional expression, develop awareness of others, enhance physical coordination, and practice being calm.

Our games use characters inspired by Shakespeare to practice emotional expressions, respond to eye contact, and develop body language and help identify it in others. By practicing body language and observing it in others, students can improve emotional awareness and regulation.

Classes are available in person or on Zoom and last 15-30 minutes depending on the child’s attention span. The caregiver who participates also learns valuable games that they can play between classes. All these games can be adapted to the child’s verbal abilities.
